Male Waiter Sexually Harassed By Multiple Coworkers At A Restaurant
$375,000 – Male Waiter Sexually Harassed by Multiple Coworkers at a Restaurant
Plaintiff alleged that numerous coworkers sexually harassed him while working as a server at a large restaurant. All the coworkers denied the sexual conduct and the defense took the position that Plaintiff’s claims had little credibility because it was very unlikely that so many coworkers, both male and female, would be sexually harassing him.
Winer, McKenna, Burritt & Tillis LLP, through investigation and discovery, was able to turn up witnesses to some of the sexual harassment which gave validity to Plaintiff’s claims. Further once Plaintiff complained, defendant Company failed to adequately investigate his claims.
RESULT: Settlement on behalf of Plaintiff for $375,000.
